PS3 (Playstation 3) is jogging in the global market. Xbox 360 & Nintendo Wii are the competitors of Playstation.

Playstation a famous name in the gambling consoles industry was established in the mid 1990s.It released its first console in the Japanese market on the third of December 1994.It was first of its kind 32-bit gambling console. Playstation had a number of successors which started from PS known as Playstation & then moved on to PSone & after that they evolved to PSX which was first only a Japanese version. Nintendo was its previous rival but they couldn’t keep up with the competition after the launch of Playstation in the global market. The Playstation was also the first gambling console to use CD-ROM based games & had lots of add-on features for their consoles which included movie format an independant memory card & lots of other peripherals for use with the playstation. The first game released for the Playstation was “Crash Bandicoot”. In 2000 playstation lanched their console Playstation 2 which is the second most selling gambling console after the PS. In 2004 Playstation launched their Portable gambling console the PSP (Playstation Portable).In 2006 a new & current version of the gambling console known as the

Playstation designs to launch their highly awaited controller “Playstation move”. Playstation move is a motion controller & has a competition with the nintendo Wii which has the same function as of the playstation move. It is expected that the motion sensors in the playstation move are more advance & accurate in their performance. The playstation move also has the shock (vibration mode) & a analog stick. Special games will be released for the playstation move this year. The price & product launch is expected in the final quarter of this year.
